Naivasha - The South Kinangop district, in later years, became quite "civilised", and boasted a post office, general store and an hotel - the well known and very popular "Brown Trout", owned and managed by Mr & Mrs Bateman. The hotel stood in spacious grounds, high above the Chania river, which abounded in rainbow and brown trout.
