Kiambu Scrapbook - Other pioneers in Upper Kiambu - In 1911, the "Kamunyu Syndicate" was formed by Captain Montague, Mr Price-Williams and the Forbes brothers. They bought Kamunyu (now Kathpat) and Njuno from Mr A.L. Block, and started developing the first for coffee that same year.
