One dark night, Peter Harrison's train hit a giraffe and Peter brought the train to a halt and dismounted with his knife. He duly cut off the tail and climbed back into the engine cab. As the train was about to resume its journey, Peter saw the giraffe rise to its feet and gallop away - without a tail, and he wondered if his tale would be believed!
