East Africa & Rhodesia - 20/6/57 - Mr Arthur Walter Cole, who died recently in London, was for many years in the service of Barclays Bank DCO in East Africa. He opened the Nakuru branch in 1927, and was manager in that town until he retired nine years later.

Rift Valley - 13 May 1928 - 'It is noticed that cold ham is often served for luncheon but seldom for breakfast. As ham is more a breakfast dish than a luncheon one it is suggested that it be served as often for breakfast as luncheon. Brisket of beef appears to be more a luncheon than breakfast food.'
