Letter from Mrs P. Cottar - retired to try dairy farming at Lanet in the mid 1950's. Moved to Watamu in 1977. ........ During WW1 he was with the Royal Engineers and with the War Graves Commission immediately afterwards. During WW2 was released from active duty to better use his knowledge of agricultural machinery here in Kenya for vital food production.
