J A C Burke, a Mombasa lawyer who had his office opposite The Law Courts close to Fort Jesus in the 30-ties. He came from Trinidad and Tobago and had an interest in football, see Old Africa cover-photo Issue 49 and correction in issue 50. Burke died on a business-trip to Arusha in 1948.
