General Information:
Foster - 1931 joined CMS Kenya Mission at Kahuhia as an educationalist. On 27 April 1940 he married Miss Eula Carr of 'Anway', Catlan Road, Wray Common, Reigate; their son Timothy was born in February 1941. Miss Carr's father, who had died in 1939, had been a medical missionary with the China Inland Mission. In 1940 he was posted to Embu. 1941 he was transferred to Kaloleni. In 1949 he was appointed to be the Supervisor of CMS schools in the Kaloleni area at the Coast. 1949 a Lay Member of Synod of the Diocese of Mombasa 11 December 1951 he resigned from the CMS to join Government service.
