Foster - First came to the Kenya Mission in July 1926 as an honorary missionary; all her service was spent in Kikuyu country. She had been in charge of girls and women's work in Kahuhia, Kabete, Pumwani, Weithaga and Kabare. From 1948-50 she worked at the Divinity School at Limuru. She made a great contribution to Sunday School work. She was the author of "Kikuyu Martyrs". She retired in March 1955 and continued to live in Kenya and to help in Church work whenever she found it possible.
