General Information:

An employee of the CMS at the Mission Station of Maseno, near Kisumu. He was a technical instructor at the school, teaching carpentry and house building and agriculture. Mrs White took up nursing at the same place. In about 1919 he went for a short time to help with the building of Namirembe cathedral at Kampala. He did most of the woodwork, including the making of the reredos. In 1927 a daughter was struck by infantile paralysis and had to be brought home to England. Mrs White stayed in this country but Rev. White was posted back to Kenya and was stationed at Wusi, near Voi where he built a church. He was ordained when he was at Wusi or soon after.  Source: Major F.E. White
