Marian Merritt (relative): Annie Rantzen (came from an illustrious and famous family whose relatives made a fortune in South African diamonds. Harry died young leaving Annie with two little boys. She remarried and left Kenya. She wasn't welcomed back, possibly for marrying a non-Jewish person. One of Harry's sons died in WWII on active service.
