Batstone - 18/2/1913 - Got to Mombasa in early morning. A certain Major Millett of the East African Industries Co. met us, apparently somewhat by accident, and absolutely laid himself out on our behalf to the extent of lodging us at his bungalow, feeding us and helping us with the customs.
