Without learning of the tragedy of his sister's marriage, Mr James Stewart Smith, the 28 year old son in law of Sir Joseph Byrne, Governor of Kenya, died today. He was a victim of typhus. Mr Smith was the brother of the luckless bride of a day who married 'Sir' Ronald Tournour on April 13th. The next day the young husband was found shot in a Nairobi Hotel.
(which account is correct? Could Smith have shot Brewer?)
