Foster - He did a one year course at the London Institute of Education to obtain a Diploma in Education, he also took courses in handiwork and a Scoutmaster's Course at Gilwell Park prior to sailing for Kenya on 28 September 1939. He worked at CMS Maseno and at CMS Kahuhia, where he was the supervisor of schools. 1954/5 Mr Hooper was the Principal of the Normal School at Kahuhia and leader of the CMS team there. He resigned from CMS in 1957. After Ursula died he married Mrs Betty Sneyd, the widow of a CMS Missionary
