Mambo 2 - During his service in Kenya he was awarded the Colonial Police and Fire Brigade's Long Service Medal, the Order of St. John, Colonial Police Medal for Meritorious Service and the 1939/45 War Medal and African General Service Medal.
Ord - I baby-sat Harry's ailing wife and two sons one evening [at Kisumu] while he attended a Lodge meeting. (Later he was transferred to St. Helena - Napoleon's island - as Chief Police Officer. His wife died, and he married the Governor's daughter.)
