R.B. Jolley - On leaving school Meg became a telephone operator with the Nairobi exchange and worked there till she resigned in 1948. Went to the UK on holiday. On return, joined Smith McKenzie in Mombasa till 1953. Moved back to Nairobi and took another position as telephone operator Agricultural/Law Courts exchange. There Meg remained till end of 1968 and left with Ron and Joan Jolley when they moved to South Africa
