I started there in September 1949 and my husband, John, and I still keep up with most of the staff of that time. We will be 77 next year and are very fortunate to be in good health and have lots of fun. Earlier this year (1998) we spent 17 days in Antarctica which was just wonderful. We motored to the UK in July (1998) via Santander and Plymouth and saw many friends. In September we visited Expo 98 which was impressive and enjoyable.”
