Chandler - An Austrian elephant hunter in the Lado Enclave 1900s he was one of the first to capture a baby white rhino - in his case more or less as an afterthought after he'd shot its atypically aggressive mother. When he was killed by an elephant in the Congo in about 1908, John Boyes, who knew him well, was camped just a few miles away {see also Bucheri}
