General Information:
Dr. James Anderson, OBE, MRCVS whose research in the early thirties and onwards on infectious breeding diseases and A.I. of cattle was second to none in the world. His work at that time in this field was considered ahead of that of Russia and Britain, and the Central A.I. station at Kabete was his brain child. Source: Derrick North Lewis.
Golf - With Peter Whitelaw he formed the spear head of the Scottish team in the early International matches. T.J. (Bug) Anderson will still be remembered by many. He also was a fine golfer with, perhaps, a weakness for exaggerated reminiscences at the 19th which were easily forgiven to a man so willing to advise less expert players. Present at first general meeting of Nairobi, later Royal Nairobi, Golf Club in 1910. Elected Vice-Captain.
